Design has always been more than how something looks.
It began with six years of architectural education — learning to
understand proportion, colour, form, material, space, and the
relationship between individual elements and the whole.
Those years taught me how to begin with an idea, develop it with ntention,
and carry it beyond the page into something real.
That foundation continued through professional design experience,
developing ideas, working through the details, and seeing them move from
concept into execution. It was where design became more than something
studied; it became something practiced, resolved, and brought to life
But the story of MITA & CO was shaped just as much by the experiences
that followed.
At one point along that journey, my work brought me closely alongside
expectant mothers and growing families as they prepared for a new chapter,
helping them understand what they would need, guiding them through
products and choices, and being part of the preparation for the baby they
were about to welcome
A nursery was not
simply a room
A celebration was not
simply an event.
A gift was not
simply an object.
WHERE IT ALL CAME TOGETHER
Design, experience, and the moments that matter.
MITA & CO was created where these experiences came together, a foundation
in architecture and design, experience in bringing ideas into reality,
and an understanding of what it means to be alongside people as they
prepare for meaningful moments
in their lives.
It became the idea for a different kind of design studio.
One where listening comes before designing.
Where we understand the person, the need, and the story first, and then use design
to shape what comes next.
Sometimes that becomes a space.
Sometimes a celebration.
Sometimes a gift.
But the intention remains the same: To create
something considered,
personal, and made
to become part
of your story.

The studio itself began with a blank page
MITA & CO was created the same way we approach every project,
beginning with an idea, a purpose, and the question of what it could become
IDEA DESIGN REFINEMENT EXECUTION
From the identity and colour palette to the business cards, printed pieces, brochures, and this website, each element was conceived, designed, and brought to life by us, from the first idea through to its final execution.
Thoughtful details and custom elements that make the gift distinctly theirs.
Nothing was simply handed off after the design was complete.
The thinking, designing, refining, and making were all part of the same creative process, allowing every element to belong to one complete visual language,
Because to us, design is not limited to imagining what something could be.
It is the ability to begin with nothing, understand the possibilities, bring colour, form, proportion, material, function, and ideas together, and turn them into something real.
That is what we mean by creating
